The Learning Curve Ruler, use this ruler to make a myriad of different blocks with curves, you need the ruler and a pattern and then go from there!  Class Fee $50, Tuesday March 18
One Block Wonder – warning this technique is addictive.  Once you do one, you’ll look at fabrics differently.  Class Fee $50, Book available in store, 60 degree triangle works well but not necessary.  Tuesday Feb 18th

Bargello Basics – make a baby quilt out of 16 fat 1/8ths, or a lap quilt with fat quarters or a queen with a little more!  Learn the basics of the bargello.  Class Fee $50.  Saturday Feb 8, 2014 or Tuesday, Feb11, 2014
Stuck on curves – build your quilt with glue and sew perfect curves and circles.  Class Fee $55 includes Pattern, Book is $25. Wednesday, February 12, 2014
Make your own Bias Tape and Celtic block – make your own bias tape and learn how to make a beautiful Celtic block that we will quilt into a small wallhanging.   Class Fee $50, Bias Tape maker and fusible tape required and available in store for under $20 for both. Friday, March 14, 2014
Grids and Grommets Bag  – Put together the perfect bag by Indigo Junction, using the drapery grommets.  Two sizes included in pattern.  Class Fee is $50, Pattern required, $14  Friday Feb 21, 2014
Pl023aying with colours on your quilted piece.  Try out paints, pencil crayons, inks and paint sticks.  We’ll play with a sample in the morning and then start on a masterpiece in the afternoon.  Class fee $50, Class Kit $30, includes 2 prequilted pieces and the use of paints and other materials.  Wednesday Feb 19, 2014.
Lone Star Pizzazz Block of the month!  This quilt can be made as a king or a lap sized quilt with 8 sampler blocks nestled in between your lone star points – we will run for 5 months, Constructing your points one month and 2 blocks per month.   Registration Fee $40, includes pattern and monthly demos.  Starts Feb 25th, Demos will be the last Tuesday of the month  at 11:15 am March, April, May, June with a final ‘Reveal’ in September.  **** if you are not able to attend daytime demos, let me know and we can set up another time that works for everyone.

Classes will begin at 10am and go until 4pm or so,  we will have the doors open at 9:30 so you can come and get set up.  You are welcome to bring your lunch, we have a fridge and microwave available.

**New Class Policies;  Class fees are due at registration and are non-refundable.  Your SupplyList will be provided at registration.

Here are some other classes that are available but not scheduled!  If anything strikes you, let me know what date works for you and we’ll work something out!

Beginner Class;  In this class you will learn to cut, piece, quilt and bind a small quilt.  The class consists of one “Prep Night”  and two Saturdays.     Cost of class is $80 plus supplies.  ** No Date set, please contact shop.



Strata Star – Simple yet intricate looking, you can finish the whole top in class if you want to….    Cost of Class is $50, Pattern $10   – **** No Date Set



015Simple Stained Glass – Stained glass combined with Quilt as You go….. uses pre-made bias tape or you can use the bias tape you have made yourself! Class Fee including pattern $50, kit for the rest of the supplies also available.  ** No Date Set

017 – Fans!  this Fan quilt is easy and works up quickly…… do you have a grouping of Fat Quarters you just don’t know what to do with?  This is a great quilt to feature some great prints and a variety of Backgrounds make a great variation too.  ** No Date Set

  Beginner Basket – using clothesline and fabric, make a great little basket – warning – this is ADDICTIVE…. Class Kit available.

X’s and O’s (a.k.a.Hidden Wells)  Make an intricate block with a simple technique.  You may be able to complete a lap size quilt in the class.

   Quilt As You Go….Using Fabric Scraps and Batting Scraps make a reversible quilt that is finished block by block.  Learn the sashing technique that I’ve used in the past and a reversible binding.

 Multi Faceted/Buckeye Beauty… a Bali-Pop or Jelly Roll Quilt – Using precut strips(or cut your own) make two blocks that combine to make a very effective quilt.


 – The Simplest Quilt in the World – it doesn’t have to be difficult, try out the Shape Cut Ruler and put together a simple lap quilt in a day.  You can even Design your own! .  Shape Cut Ruler not required but available in the shop.

 – Juliet Bag – Put together this versatile bag, you’ll want to make a ton of different colours.

 In Town Bag – this little handbag makes a cute addition to your collection!

  Clothesline Boxes or Mat – Learn how to make a Decorative Box or a Floor Mat with the Clothesline and fabric strips.   Class Kit available.

  10. Hi Denise, the classes are set up so that we can pick a date that works for you and get at least one other person signed up for that day! I have another lady that would like to do the easy stained glass and she is busy on Tuesdays, so we can come up with another day that works for both of you and go for it!

  12. We did a Learning Curve class in May…. I put pictures on my Facebook Page, I’ll repost them here on the blog next time….. I LOVE your Learning Curve and my students really did too. They finished the day with enough blocks to do a good sized table runner and played around with some different settings……
