Cheryl

On Friday this week, we’ll be Celebrating the life of a Great Lady.  My friend, Cheryl Fowler, passed away last week after a long battle with cancer.  Her service is Friday July 27th at 11 am at the United Church in Rossland.

You always knew when Cheryl was there, she exuded this energy that just made you feel great.  She had so many great friends and she made every one of them feel special.  Time seemed to melt away when you were having a laugh with Cheryl  – and there was always laughing.   She was always eager to find out what was up with your kids and your life and she could recall details of a conversation from months before.

Cheryl was so proud of her daughter Tammy and just loved her grandaughter Tianna to bits.  They all went on a Disney Cruise to Alaska last year and had a great time!  She made many trips out to Victoria to visit them and loved every minute of their time together.

Cheryl picked up this quilt that she made for Tianna a couple of weeks ago.  Tianna helped Cathie finish off the binding and Cathie did up a label with a really great picture of Cheryl to put on the quilt.

I’m sure you’ll understand if I miss you on Friday.  Thanx.
