Back Again

We decided to go for a drive to get away and take a little break.  We left last night and just got home a few minutes ago.  We made it to Omak, Washington last night and had the BEST BBQ EVER at a little place that was a gallery/tack shop/bbq owned by Bink Picard…. you could have steak or ribs so we had one of each – no steak knife required.  Then today we roamed about through orchards and gorgeous countryside and ended up at Watersville (?) at the Coyote Creek(?) Cafe – it’s right accross main street from the quilt shop…. and the food and the people there were Fabulous too.  Then we wound our way home crossing a ferry at Keller and north from there.  It feels good to have had a bit of a break.  We didn’t shop or take any pictures…. just ate – our favourite  hobby.

Here are some quilts you may not have seen yet.  They are from a few weeks back, before I left for Calgary.  This is Denise’s Christmas Nine-Patch.  We did some holly leaves and an almost snowflake motif in Rhiengold metallic.  Boy, it sure looks nice (in my humble opinion).

This is Sandy’s Autumn Star.  Beautiful reds and golds and blacks.

Lorae calls this one Rock ‘n Roll.  What fun!

These are new…. from Riley Blake.  The Mauvey ones are yummy and the  tone on tones have lots of movement to them.

  1. Welcome back!

LOVE the new fabrics! I’ll have to pick up some more!
