Lots of Quilts!

I don’t believe that all this time has passed between quilt posts!  Where does it all go??  I think I am in a time warp and one day, I am going to get all that time that I’m missing back somehow…. if anyone has figured this out, please let me know!

So here are some of the quilts that I have had the pleasure of working on in the past few weeks.   This is Jan H’s quilt made from Hawaiian Barkcloth that she picked up on a trip to the Islands.  She really did feature the beautiful prints nicely.apr090001apr090002apr090004

We quilted a ferny feather around the border and the allover flower garden in the centre.

Next was Diane P’s Sunflower Quilts… This one was done with the “Walk the Line” pattern – simple, quick and gorgeous!  Her choice of colours and fabrics was unexpected and inspiring.

We quilted sunflowers and leaves in the border and big sunflowers in an allover design in the body of the quilt.

This is Diane’s Hugs and Kisses Quilt.  It was a mystery quilt and has X’s and O’s and Hearts on it.  Turned out great for a mystery – I think Diane has a great colour sense.img_0880img_0881img_0882

We used Wonderfil Rayon threads and put a sunflower into each centre square and leaves in the X shapes and in the O’s too.img_0884
